4DLSQL
4DLSQL is a clone of 4D SQL Server plugin. The goal is to implement most used calls of 4D SQL Server and make their APIs compatible to simplify the transition to 4D 2003 (or later) and MacOSX/MacOS9/Win32. 4DLSQL requires Sybase OpenClient which comes with MacOSX version of Sybase Adaptive Enterprise Server or can be ordered separately from sybase.
4DLSQL is the only Sybase plugin for 4D using Sybase's own software for communicating with Sybase databases. There might be some other clones of 4D SQL Server that use FreeTDS. Please do check if you can get support from Sybase when using those plugins in mission critical systems.
