It seems that InputManagers folder not only should be owned by root:admin, but also
it should not be group-writable. So in Terminal run:

    sudo chmod 755 /Library/InputManagers    
&lt;/pre&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
Saft.app can be used as Saft InputManager plugin installer or a Safari launcher:&lt;br&gt;
To install Saft, copy the latest version for the downloaded Saft disk image to your
Applications folder, unmount  the Saft disk image. Make sure you do not any old

InputManager plugin, or use it as a launcher.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;

[UPDATE] Apple changed mind and put back the InputManagers support in
the last minute before releasing Leopard. Saft for Leopard will support
the InputManagers way as in the older versions. Please wait for the
coming version.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;
Saft is now a Safari launcher. To enable Saft features, run Saft.app and
it will start Safari with Saft plugin loaded. This change is due to
MacOS 10.5 (Leopard) has dropped the support of InputManagers.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;
